1962-1972 Post-Saturn Launch Vehicle Studies |
NOTETrying to collate all of the various post-Saturn concepts is a confusing mess; because targets were constantly changing. I've chosen to organize things by year and paper. Bulletpointed entries under each main report/paper indicate sub-papers or reports referenced by the paper itself. |
This rather meaty 400~ page document that goes into a lot of trades that were made during the early Post-Saturn studies for a lot of subsystems.
This document contains copies of the visual aids presented by Martin Company to NASA Marshall Space Flight Center during the Post Saturn Part III Final Summary Review on October 27, 1964.
This version is a slightly changed version of the 1964 paper presented to AIAA. The main changes are the addition of several references to other papers:
General Electric performed detailed parametric analyses on three baseline vehicle configurations selected from a Post-Saturn Vehicle study performed by the Martin Company for this study.
