Based on the Imp SB, I'm going to try and figure out the exact composition of a fleet (All I'm doing is assigning ship classes from the SB to the different definitions in the SB). These are only Combat Strengths, so support and transport units are not included. If you want me to include them, ask.

My Assumptions are as follows:

• The Imperial Navy is, for the most part, composed only of ships mentioned in the SB.

• The desired ship strength (at the line level) is the highest number listed.

• ISDII is always preferable to ISDI

• Escort Class is a Escort Carrier (CE)

• Lancer Class is a Frigate (FF)

• Carrack Class is a Light Cruiser (CL)

• Strike Class is a Light Cruiser (CL)

• Interdictor Class is a Heavy Cruiser (CA)

• Dreadnaught Class is a Heavy Cruiser (CA)

• VSDII is VSDII (VSDII)

• ISDII is ISDII (ISDII)

• Torpedo Sphere is Battlestation (BS)

Line Level

Attack Line [AL]

6 Strike Class CL

Based on the description. Carrack CLs not included because their high speed makes them ideal in a Pursuit Line

Heavy Attack Line [HAL]

8 Dreadnaught Class CA

Based on description of ships. Interdictors are not present because they are less powerful combatants

Pursuit Line [PL]

8 Carrack Class CL
2 Interdictor Class CA

Carrack CLs are used because of their high speed. the Interdictor CAs are to keep the prey in normal space while the rest of the line engages them

Recon Line [RL]

4 Carrack Class CL

Carrack CLs used because they have a higher speed than Strike CLs

Skirmish Line [SL]

18 Lancer Class FF
2 Escort Class CE

Given the anti-starfighter nature of the Skirmish Line, this make-up seemed to make sense to me.

Torpedo Line [TPL]

2 Torpedo Sphere BS
