source from which to base things upon, but it will have to do until I
can uncover more detail on rank assignments for medical officers in
the U.S. Army.
NOTES: While it's easy to find out what unit a Captain or Colonel commands, it's a bit harder to find out what level of organization a military doctor commands. This page hopefully will help in clarifying this.
